Public projects
Shri Banke Bihari Temple Corridor
A corridor of about five acres around Banke Bihari Temple to ease crowding and improve access for pilgrims. The Supreme Court has cleared the project and the Uttar Pradesh government has committed more than ₹500 crore. Land purchase from around 270 affected buildings is still in progress, with families being offered flats in Rukmini Vihar.
Opportunity: Better access and planned commercial space near the temple are likely to raise demand for homes and shops in the old town and along the Parikrama Marg.

Commercial flights began on 15 June 2026, with IndiGo first and Akasa Air and Air India Express to follow. Routes are expanding, and international flights are expected by the end of 2026. The airport sits on the Yamuna Expressway, the main road link between Delhi NCR and Mathura.
Opportunity: Faster travel for buyers from across India and abroad makes holiday and retirement homes in Vrindavan and Mathura far more practical.

Two new road links are planned: a ₹251 crore four-lane road connecting the Yamuna Expressway directly to Vrindavan, and a ₹1,645 crore six-lane, 15 km link between the Yamuna Expressway and the Delhi–Agra highway (NH-19) under the Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad.
Opportunity: Localities close to the new road alignments and their junctions stand to gain the most from shorter travel times to Delhi NCR and the airport.

Opportunity: Parking and a ropeway should ease festival congestion, and the Raya Urban Node opens a new zone for planned residential and commercial growth.

Connectivity is improving fast
The airport and new expressway links bring Braj within easy reach of Delhi NCR and the rest of India. Locations close to these links usually see the earliest gains.
Temple-area demand will grow
The Banke Bihari Corridor and new landmark temples will draw more visitors, supporting rental income from flats, guest houses and shops near the main temples.
New growth zones are opening
The Raya Urban Node and large townships create planned areas with wider roads and amenities, often at lower entry prices than central Vrindavan.
Buy carefully, not in a hurry
